Lord God, with Your guidance and mercy, I envision a version of myself stronger, wiser, braver, and kinder than I am today. I imagine that person fearlessly taking on life’s challenges and turning adversity into learning experiences. I see that person being open to change and always willing to try new things. May You transform me into an optimistic, motivated person who embraces fresh opportunities. Amen.
Heavenly Father, thank You for gathering everyone we love to join us as we celebrate our wedding day. As we partake in our wedding dinner, I pray that it won’t only be our stomachs that will be full but our hearts and souls as well. Thank You for Your unfailing grace that sustained our love. May our marriage be another adventure to glorify Your name. Amen.
Eternal Creator, thank You for your unfailing grace and sustenance for my family. You’ve given me the greatest blessing of all: my wonderful daughter, who turns a year older today. May You bless her life with happiness, hope, and many victories and blessings. Give her courage and strength for the years ahead. Despite all odds, may she always remain faithful to You. Amen.
Our Father in Heaven, I’ve reached a stage in my life wherein I’m pressured to always do well and to prepare for my future. I’m still unsure about what I truly want for myself or which path I should take. Guide me, Lord, and give me clarity. Protect me from the negative effects of social pressure. May You also help other teenagers who are just as lost, anxious, and troubled as I am. Amen.
Father of all, Your Son our Lord Jesus Christ lived a life of humility and service. He offered His life to save us unworthy creatures. Please help me to remember that You are hurt by the proud of heart and show mercy to the humble and meek. Help me to imitate Christ’s attitude of humility and obedience. May my life be of humble service to You and my brethren. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Gracious Lord, I pray for wisdom and success in school. The price of academic success is steep, but I fear not because You are with me. Help me understand and digest all my lessons and enjoy the learning process. May I find happiness, inspiration, and growth in school. May I graduate with Your banner held high, for it is only You who can help me attain victory. Amen.
Heavenly Father, there is no greater gift than to have Your presence in my life and to feel Your guiding hand in whatever path I choose. Help me uphold honesty in my life no matter what circumstances I encounter. I know that choosing to do the right thing can be the more difficult choice, but I will stand by Your will and Your laws.
