Merciful and compassionate God, we humbly pray for our deceased soldiers. Remember them in Your endless love and forgive them the sins they may have committed in life. Reward their dedication and selfless service. Comfort and console their grieving loved ones. As they have offered their lives for our protection and safety, may You grant them the eternal reward of life everlasting. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Almighty and eternal God, we pray for all those suffering from various ailments. Give them the courage and hope they require right now and every day. May Your calmness envelop them as You ease their suffering and allay their fears. Send Your blessing to everyone who is ill and to those who care for them so that the triumph of the resurrected Christ may overcome all sickness and suffering. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
God, our Father, You have manifested Your boundless love to us through Jesus Christ, our Savior. Bestow on me the grace and willingness to love as Jesus loves. Father God, as I settle down for the night, may You stand guard over our household and be our shield. Comfort us and fill us with peace as we drift off to sleep. May we dream of beautiful things. May You be with us and keep all the nightmares away. As the world sleeps, I hope that You will protect those who are much more vulnerable and less fortunate than I am. Great God, What a divine joy it is to have a brother with whom I can grow spiritually. As I try to reflect on the endless list of things I love about my sibling, I knock upon Your heavenly door with this prayer. Heal him from sickness and soothe him from whatever pain he may be enduring. Bless him with health and happiness. No matter how hard life’s trials may be, I pray that he will lean on Your everlasting arm and know that he is safe and secure. May You protect him and deliver him from evil. Amen.
Lord God, I feel Your love for me, and I put my life in Your hands. I also kneel before You, pleading that You will protect and safely deliver abuse, war, and crime victims from the hands of evil and into Your loving embrace. In times of hardship, do not let them stray from You, O Lord, but instead, assure them of Your presence in their lives and that the bloodshed will end. Gently remind them that You are greater than any evil and stronger than any force. These I ask in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
