Being a teacher is no easy task. It requires a lot of patience and understanding. To be a teacher is a real test of character and virtue. Sometimes, we tend to forget to appreciate and thank our teachers for their service and commitment. That is why our teachers also need our support and respect.

God our Father, from whom all good things come, You have taught us through Your commandments and provisions. Father, we also thank You for giving us kind, selfless, and dedicated people to inspire and lead us – our teachers. Through them, we are assured of Your guidance and wisdom. May they always be inspired by Your love and guidance.
Loving God, grant the abundance of Your wisdom to these, our teachers. Grant them patience as they help their students who are struggling. Bestow on them the courage to speak out when necessary. Give them the ability to communicate love when the situation calls for it and strength when they are feeling frail.
By the power of the Holy Spirit, give them courage and strength. Fill them with Your power so they can take on any obstacles with utmost trust and confidence in You. Fill them with Your knowledge so that they may make wise decisions while leading and supporting others. Fill them with Your serenity so that they will not be overcome by tension and anxiety when it arrives. Fill them with Your excitement so that their enthusiasm for their lessons might grow and become contagious.
Father, each day our teachers play many little but vital roles in shaping the course of history. But we also know that in the process, they can become worn out by their duties and tasks. Please surround them with people who will inspire them and lead them back to You as they strive to love others as You do. With hope, faithfulness, and perseverance, help them make the resolve to seek You every day, especially on challenging days and in difficult situations.
Come to their aid and show them that their efforts have not been in vain. Grant them the patience, energy, persistence, and courage they need to respond to their noble calling. Remind them of Your love and providence.

As we come to ask for your prayers and intercession, we express our gratitude to God for giving us dedicated and competent teachers. We appreciate how much effort they put into their noble profession every day.
