Prayer for Breast Cancer patients

It is a must to always take care of our health and body. As stewards of God, it is our responsibility to always consider the welfare of our bodies. However, sickness comes to us in unexpected ways.

Cancer has always been one of the most feared diagnoses. But thanks to our medical practitioners, there have been many advancements in curing this type of disease. Of course, let us not forget to thank the Lord for giving our doctors and medical workers wisdom and for guiding them in coming up with these medicines and treatments.

God provides healing and strength. Let us turn to God and pray for our brethren who are currently in their battle against breast cancer. Let us commend them to God’s love and power and ask Him to bring them healing and recovery.

Catholic prayer for Breast Cancer patients

All powerful and merciful God, Your love has been manifested throughout the ages. In You are our strength and courage. Your steadfast love keeps us alive and able to continue our journey to the path You have planned for us. Praise and honor be to You, o God.

We are grateful for sending us Your Son, our Lord, and Redeemer Jesus Christ, to show us Your love and forgiveness. All throughout His ministry, He has shown mercy to those who were in need. He cured many people of their sicknesses and sufferings. He restored their waning hope and provided them with courage and faith.

Loving Father, I come to You begging for Your compassionate gaze. Look upon me and my current suffering. It was an utterly devastating moment when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My heart was shattered. I felt afraid and worried. I fell into despair and restlessness.

O God, I am deeply sorry for the disappointment and anger I felt the first moment I heard of this unfortunate circumstance in my life. I was afraid and confused. I was asking myself if I really deserved to have this illness. There were moments when my faith in You was tested. I approach You now with a heavy heart and a troubled spirit. I am sorry, Lord, for doubting Your presence in my life.

In You, my Lord, I entrust myself as I go through this difficult moment in my life. You are my God and my healer. I humbly beseech You to grant me Your healing and restoring power. Envelope me with Your assuring grace. May Your power penetrate every fiber and cell in my body.

Father, I also thank You for the people who are with me as I tread this path of healing and recovery. Thank You for reminding me through these people that I am not alone in this fight against cancer. Please continue to bless them, as they are a blessing to me.

I pray for my doctors and the medical practitioners who are helping me in this battle. I believe that they are Your instruments to bring healing and strength to me. Please guide them with Your healing hand. May they do their tasks with competence and compassion.

As I strive to win this fight against cancer, Lord, I offer You every suffering and inconvenience that I may face. I unite myself and these sufferings to the passion of our Lord Jesus Christ. Transform this cross into a salvific moment for the people around me and me. Whatever happens, Lord, I entrust myself fully to Your will. Never leave me on this journey.

Through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
