Matrimony is one of the seven Sacraments in the Catholic Church. Through this Sacrament, we are constantly reminded of Christ’s unending love for the Church.

Thank You, dear God, for giving me a fantastic husband. He is everything I desired and prayed for in life. Sometimes, I ask myself what good I have done to merit such a wonderful person in my life. But You, o Lord, have granted me such a wondrous blessing through my husband. I know he feels the same gratitude for me.

Lord, my husband is sick. Seeing my beloved husband in pain and suffering feels heavy in my heart. You, my God, are the Ultimate Healer. All things are possible with You. Please hear me as I come to You to pray for my sick husband.

Please extend Your healing hand to him. Bring him comfort and relief from all his sufferings. I humbly ask that You grant my husband the fortitude and strength he needs to battle this illness. I beg You to help him feel at ease. Please let him know that I and everyone else taking care of him love and support him, especially in this sorrowful time.

Lord, I ask that You direct the hands of his physicians and nurses. Please grant them insight and expertise as they attempt to identify and treat his illness. I pray that You give them the compassion and strength to always care for him.

Lord, please also help me care for my husband most compassionately and encouragingly. Please give me the perseverance and strength I need to take care of him. Grant me the grace to be a source of solace and courage for him and the strength to manage the obstacles and hardships that come with illness. Please grant me the strength in mind and body and the fortitude I need in order to care for all his needs and wants.

Dear Saint Camillus de Lellis, you are known as one of the most powerful saints invoked for healing. I come before you today to ask for your intercession on behalf of my dear spouse, who is suffering from illness. I kindly ask that you pray for him and help lessen his suffering by giving him consolation.

Saint Camillus, you lived a life devoted to helping the sick and providing for the poor. I pray that through your intercession, the Lord may heal my husband. Direct and inspire the medical staff who are taking care of him.
