God created everything out of His overflowing love. The beauty of all created things reflects the beauty and power of the Creator. Even in the Scriptures, God has given humanity the responsibility of taking care of creation.
Animals serve many purposes for us. Our pets are so precious and loved. They are our best friends, therapists, protectors, and loyal buddies. They are special family members to their owners. They have a unique way of bringing love, happiness, and companionship into our lives.
Losing a pet is a very devastating and overwhelming experience. Our pets become members of our family and enrich our lives with so much love and affection. That is why we greatly worry when they are lost. We feel a different kind of worry and anxiety when they are not around.
Let us turn to the Lord God as we do our best to search for our lost pets. In times of stress and anxiety, let us not forget to pray to God so that our pets will be protected from any danger while they are away from us.
Prayer for lost animals
Lord God, almighty and ever-living, we praise and thank You for the wonders of creation. We marvel at the beauty of everything that surrounds us. Through Your creation, we reflect on the beauty of Your divinity and power.
Lord, we thank You for entrusting us to become stewards of creation. From plants to animals, You have given us dominion and trust us to take care of them. Thank You for letting us become Your cooperators in looking after Your creation.
Father, thank You for giving us amazing and lovely pets. Their presence gives our life additional joy and meaning. They may be animals different from us, but they are family to us. They are our friends. They are our loyal companions. They bring happiness on an exhausting day. They give us a million reasons to laugh and appreciate life.
Lord, we pray for those animals and pets who are lost now. Please keep them safe from any harm. Keep them from the scorching heat of the sun and the cold breeze of the night. Protect them from dangers that other human beings or animals might inflict on them.
Watch over them as they are away from their human companions. Send them Your help through kind people who will give them food and drink.
Lord, we pray for those animals and pets who are sick, wounded, or injured. Please heal them from any kind of sickness.
Grant us patience and perseverance as we look for these our dear pets. May we never lose hope as we search for them. We pray, dear God, to keep us safe as well as we give our best to find our lost friends.
We also pray for our other brothers and sisters who are also anxious about their lost pets. Please console them with the hope of finding them. Do not let them fall into despair and sadness.

Dear Saint Francis of Assisi, you loved animals and cared for them. With anxiety and worry, we come to you to implore your prayers and intercession for our beloved pets who are not with us now.
O blessed Saint Francis; we pray to you for the safe return of our beloved pets. We ask that you keep an eye on them, guard them, and lead them back to us. Keep them secure and uninjured, and provide them with food and shelter along the way.

Animals are very special beings sent by God. In a remarkable and unique way, they bring love, kindness, happiness, and friendship into our lives. They are loyal companions – always there for us to listen and comfort us whenever we need it.
It is known that pets can significantly improve our overall well-being. They improve our emotional and physical health. They reduce our stress and help us feel safe, and relieve our mental exhaustion. They are an unending source of fun and happiness.
Our pets can also give us very important lessons in life. They teach us friendship, compassion, responsibility, and unconditional love. They constantly remind us of the beauty of life and relationships. They bring out the best in us. They inspire us. They teach us how to become better people. They guide us to what really matters most in our life. They bring with them an unexplainable kind of magic that leads us to a beautiful and meaningful change.

Thank you God for the gift of animals in our lives. We thank you Lord especially for our dear pet Lucky, our cat. He is there years old. . He is my daughter’s pet, a best friend, a therapist, & best companion she ever has. He is lost now since the night of 11/21/23. Lucky is dear to our whole family and we love him so much. Our hearts are broken and especially my dear daughter, Lucky’s owner. She is devastated and in tears most of the time because of missing her cat so much. Our dear pet Lucky, our cat limped his way home around 4 am on 11/29/23. He lost a lot of weight and he got home starving and he ate a lot like he hasn’t eaten for days. His got a lot of scratches and injuries on his body and head. He walks tiptoeing, he couldn’t jump anymore like he used to and he doesn’t meow but if he does, his meow is very weak. Despite of all the discrepancies of his body, we are very happy, grateful for the love God, and very thankful that our dear cat Lucky was given the strength and energy by our Loving God to guide him back home to us! It is raining and we have coyotes in this neighborhood. Father, protect and care for him as he searches his way back home . You found the lost sheep and rescued it from the high mountains, You parted the ocean, You told the tide when to come in, You care for the wren in the woods. My little boy Hushpuppy has been returned to his loving home . He was gone for 6 days. I family had taking him in from the elements of a bad storm. They cared for him , loved and sheltered him. What more can a wretched sinner ask for ? Than for your mighty righteous hand to provide a supernatural miracle. The circumstances behind his disappearance and recovery are soooo incredulous that only the supreme holy Father could’ve pulled off this miracle. Oh how I love, worship, respect and cherish You.
